I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. I have developed strong skills and expertise in fundraising, marketing, publishing, project management, administrative duties, partnership building, humanitarian aid, and public relations through various work experiences and my experiences at University. Some of these work experiences consist of working as a research assistant where I was able to develop strong analytical skills while listening to Armenian and Holocaust survivors testimonies, organizing events for the University of Toronto, such as hosting the Genocide and human rights conference, co-hosted alongside with the Zoryan Institute. I have also developed fundraising and marketing expertise by belonging to the Ontario Armenian Students Association, where I organized a number of fundraising events such as bake sales, movie nights, as well as the Armenian Genocide candlelight vigil at the legislative assembly in Toronto. Some of my duties consisted of having skills in promoting, organizing, and fundraising for events, as well as communicating with local politicians in the region. I have worked as a summer intern at the Ministry of Diaspora in the Republic of Armenia, which helped to further develop my project management, fundraising, and humanitarian aid/support skills. I specifically focused on Canada’s diaspora communities and communicating and connecting them to the Armenian homeland. I believe strongly in the mission and goal that together4armenia is promoting. I believe in a healthy, positive, and strong Armenia, my homeland.
