About me
I would be happy to collaborate with a local team and share my experience in the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) field to help boost the environment, health, and safety program and culture in Armenia. I have worked in this field for over 7 years, predominately supporting teams in North America, but have assisted and audited teams overseas. Within my company I have supported teams in oil & gas (offshore and land-based), and energy connections (motors and drives) in various industries such as solar fields, mining, mills, ships and shipyards, electric utilities, and turn-key construction sites. I have overseen both fixed facilities and distributed workforces working at customer sites. EHS areas of focus can include: regulatory compliance, program development, risk assessment and reduction, environment and health monitoring, audit program, training, personal protective equipment, emergency plan and response, incident management and investigation, and fostering a positive environment, health, and safety culture. I am fluent in English and Armenian, and have a working knowledge of Arabic (a bit rusty). I have been to Armenia twice and can support in person, as well as remotely. I also care about environmental, vegan, and animal rights issues, and welcome opportunities to support in those areas.
